IPS
Empress Esthetic is available for the PRESS technology. The
product consists of the highly aesthetic, leucite-reinforced
glass-ceramic that has been clinically tried-and-tested for many
years, and is characterized by excellent strength values and
outstanding aesthetic appearance. It may thus be used for the
fabrication of fully anatomic single-unit restorations, such as
inlays, onlays, veneers, and crowns.
 Leucite-reinforced glass-ceramic
The new IPS Empress Esthetic Line has been further enhanced with
an extremely homogeneous leucite glass-ceramic, which features
natural light scattering and offers a balanced chameleon effect.
Due to an increased density and homogeneity of the crystals, the
restorations blend beautifully into the natural surroundings.
Moreover, the flexural strength of the ingots has been improved
from 138 MPa to 160 MPa.
